Ambient Scientific and Dimension NXG Introduce MAI Women’s Health and Safety Wearable
Ambient Scientific has partnered with Dimension NXG to power MAI, a new AI-enabled wearable designed around women’s health, safety, privacy, and continuous monitoring.
MAI uses Ambient Scientific’s GPX10 processor to run sensor fusion and audio classification locally on the wearable, reducing dependence on cloud connectivity or constant smartphone access. The device is designed to provide up to 14 days of battery life on a 180 mAh battery while continuously running on-device AI workloads. PR Newswire

MAI combines everyday health monitoring with a built-in safety layer. Its capabilities include heart rate and SpO₂ tracking, personalized health baselines, fall detection, SOS gesture recognition, and opt-in stress cue monitoring.
